Second Nature

Like many owners of small production houses, I've learned to do just about everything: direct, produce, operate cameras and drones, etc. I do all of that well, but my real superpower in filmmaking, and the talent best suited to lending to other projects, is my storytelling skillset. Writing, editing for story, and narrating are all things I do exceptionally well.

I have professional voice-over training, a degree in creative writing, and, perhaps most importantly, I’ve been a voracious reader since I was a kid (my mom owned an independent bookstore, which was across the street from the public library). My love of stories evolved into a love of language, and half a lifetime later, I feel instinctively tuned-in to the music, rhythm, and cadence of language and story structure; it's second nature at this point.
